Program Design + Private Training

Program Design + Private Training is for you if:

  • You’re brand new to Athena or are returning after an extended time away (everyone starts with private training)!

  • You have a complex injury history, are challenged by persistent pain, or are navigating medical issues that would benefit from increased personal attention and modifications to your program on a day to day basis (we will talk about this during your assessment and consultation if you’re not sure!)

  • You have scheduling needs outside of offered semiprivate hours

  • You prefer the accountability of private, face to face coaching and the structure of scheduled weekly sessions.

  • You simply prefer a private session vibe for any reason!

COST: Package rates begin at $1320 for 12 sessions, with the majority of people we see requiring 24 sessions at minimum to begin effectively.

Recommended package purchase/session frequency will be discussed at your assessment.

INCLUDES:

  • Weekly private training sessions (frequency will depend on your goals and needs) that will consist of supervised exercise, movement, education, mindfulness practice, and lifestyle coaching as needed. 

  • Access to the full spectrum of equipment at Athena (relevant to your needs) including but not limited to: Pilates reformer, barbells, kettlebells, dumbbells, treadmill, stationary bikes, recumbent bike, functional fitness equipment, and more. 

  • Customized exercise program consisting of a holistic blend of strength, mobility, cardiovascular, mindfulness, and functional exercises designed to progress you towards your goals while addressing specific needs, limitations/areas of opportunity, and exercise experience. Programming will encompass your weekly private training sessions with your coach, activity outside of the gym that will help you progress efficiently with specific attention to activities you enjoy and want to incorporate as part of your plan (walking, jogging, yoga, etc), and adjustments to your program as needed when you’re traveling or otherwise away from the gym. 

  • Access to our virtual platform, TrueCoach, to keep track of your exercise and lifestyle program, communicate directly with your coach throughout the week, and seamlessly integrate activities outside of the studio so you’re clear on what you need to do to see progress. Your TrueCoach account will also include customized movement videos that are specific to you and your needs to ensure that you’re confident on how to perform exercises correctly if you need to outside of the studio. 

  • Comprehensive management of your wellness program to ensure you’re getting the most out of your time with us while acknowledging your specific lifestyle needs and challenges. Depending on your individual goals, this could include coaching on nutritional habit improvement, hydration, stress management, and/or sleep hygiene. 

  • Communication as needed with your primary care provider and/or rehab professional to ensure that your program is appropriate for your current needs, especially if you’re recovering from injury or dealing with a complex medical issue. 

  • Access to the Athena facility during open gym hours outside of your scheduled training sessions as needed for your program. 

  • Complimentary access to Athena mobility classes, movement clinics, educational workshops and seminars.

  • Regular check-ins to assess progress towards your goals based on whatever metrics you and your coach decide are best for you!
